Zhang & Associates, P.C. is pleased to announce the opening of its new west coast office located in Pasadena, CA within Los Angeles County. This strategic move aligns the firm’s national immigration service with the four USCIS service centers and provides our clients with comprehensive access to immigration benefits and solutions.

With its rich and diverse population, Los Angeles County offers the ideal platform for the firm to continue to serve the immigrant communities of the United States. Los Angeles County boasts the largest U.S. population by far with over 10 million citizens while simultaneously staking claim to the largest Asian population in addition to a Hispanic/Latino majority. Los Angeles has long been the major gateway for Asian-Pacific visitors and immigrants to enter the US.

Famous for hosting the annual Rose Bowl football game and Tournament of Roses Parade, the city of Pasadena is the home of many leading scientific and cultural institutions, including the California Institute of Technology, the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, and numerous theaters and museums. The city garnered its name (pa-sa-de-na or “of the valley”) from its landscape and lush vegetation. The new offices are ideally located and within a quick drive of all of Los Angeles County’s important landmarks including City Hall and heart of Downtown LA.

The major industries of Los Angeles County include international trade, supported by the Port of Los Angeles and the Port of Long Beach, motion picture and television program production, music recording and production, aerospace, and professional services such as law and medicine.

Leading the firm’s west coast operations will be one of its senior attorneys, Mr. Daqin Zhang. Mr. Zhang earned his J.D. from Brigham Young University and is a licensed member of the New York State Bar, Utah State Bar and the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). Prior to joining Zhang & Associates, Mr. Zhang practiced with Kirton & McConkie, and clerked with the Legal Department of General Motors and the Hong Kong office of Dibb Lupton Alsop (DLA). Fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese, and English, Mr. Zhang’s practice with Zhang & Associates focuses on a wide range of business investment and employment-based immigration law issues, including EB-1, EB-5, NIW, PERM, H-1B, L-1, O-1 and E-2 visa.

For the next three months, Mr. Zhang will be providing free consultations by appointment and a series of Saturday, in-office seminars in our new office. He will also be offering free web-based and on-site seminars for interested companies and universities in the LA area.
