We conduct seminar workshops and preparatory courses such as the California Basic Educational Skills Test (CBEST) to improve reading, writing and mathematic skills in the English language. We assist housing and transition.
1500 teachers and 900 nurses have already been hired from Nigeria and the Philippines. Only a select few have been selected from other occupations because those jobs had been started not too long ago. Universal Placement, Inc. is the first company to begin outsourcing teachers.
Clinical Laboratory Scientists (Medical Technologists) are required to have a US license and will be paid a minimum of $15/hr. Dentists are also required to have a US license and will be paid a minimum of $10,000/year. Dental Lab Technicians and Pharmacy Interns will be paid a minimum of $10/hr. Pharmacists (also required to have a US license) will be paid a minimum of $70,000/year. Speech Pathologists must have a California license and Masters Degree; at a minimum, they will be paid $70000/year. X-ray Technicians with a US license will be paid a minimum of $18/hr. Math, Science or Bilingual teachers who have passed the C-BEST will be paid a minimum of $35,000/year. Nurses with US licenses will be paid a minimum of $25/hr.
Average working hours for applicants will be 40 hours per week and will get paid for overtime. All applicants must pay for their own plane tickets as well as their food and board except nurses. Only nurses will have their plane ticket, 2-3 months of food and board and their ESL classes paid for by their hospitals. All employees must have worker’s compensation insurance.
