Responsibilities: • Import Compliance Management: Ensure the full compliance for import operational activity for the Company, based on US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) regulations of US government and its agencies. • Government Programs Coordination including validation, audit and reporting of Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT) and Importer Self-Assessment (ISA). • Manage Free Trade Agreement (FTA) Activities: Monitor and manage activities related to treaty agreements that occur between two or more nations, that determine the tariffs, or taxes and duties that the countries impose on imports and exports to include North America Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) and U.S. -Korean Trade Agreement (KORUS). • Export Compliance Management: Provide support to the Company in compliance risk management, i.e. the risk of legal or administrative sanctions, financial losses or reputation deterioration for failing to comply with laws, regulations and legislation, codes of conduct and good practice (“laws, regulations and rules”). • Process improvements, mentoring and training, and other projects needed to support the team, subdivision, or the Company. • Creation/translation of materials for meetings and conferences, reporting, information sharing and other special projects. Requirements • Education Requirement: Bachelor’s Degree in business, logistics or related field • Number of Years of Experience Required: 2-5 years • Language Requirement: Korean and English.
