    Summary:

    The night shift transportation manager is responsible for management of transportation operation of our customers and supervises carriers for planning schedules and maintenance to ensure the freight is delivered by scheduled during night shift.
    Also, communicates with HMMA, KaGA, customers, and carriers on issues and concerns to prepare for prevention and improvements.

    1. Manage and supervise carriers to ensure providing full support to transportation service during night shift
    – Manage carriers to meet requirement of proper assets for smooth operation.
    – Encourage supervisors and drivers to comply with safety rules while operation.
    – Communicate with supervisors and improve drivers’ behavior and performance to minimize customer inconvenience
    – Provide planning and safety training to avoid future occurrence that caused any incident and claims.

    2. Communicate with customers management on any issues and concerns.
    – Proactively identify any issues and operational errors that may cause transportation and freight delivery failure.
    – Cooperation with customers based collected data for the shipment schedule efficiency and operational efficiency.

    3. KPI Plan and Document Preparation
    – Prepare annual KPI for department according to analyzing data collected from customer’s operational status
    and researching market conditions.
    – Establish departmernt goals by analyze industry trends or overall market conditions based on KPI.
    – Real time status reporting to management on risk identification and efficiency maximization dased on operational data
    to achieve objectives.
    4. Manage claims status (downtime and incident)
    – Oversee claim status with regular basis and report to management.
    – Investigate the leading cause and establish alternative measures accordingly due to future loss and risk.
    – Negotiate with customers and carriers, based on laws and regulations to establish clear liability for compensation.

    5. Process & operating system impovement
    – Periodic on-site audit (Safety, performance, proper assets) and collection of operational records.
    – Research operational status and discovery of carriers to increase sales.
    – Improve and coordinate the regulations, terms & conditions of contract, operational practices and procedures according
    to overall market changes.
    6. Safety audit and on-site research for improve the operating system.
    – Operation data collection to establish operational planning and direction
    – Improvement of service to customers by researching to improve driver’s and supervisor’s performance and SOP.

    7. -Able to review, analyze transportation data and report transportation status in progress through MS office.
    -Require knowledge of the laws and DOT regulations that related to transportation.
    -Understanding of availability and Requirements for Transportation Equipment. Professional-level verbal and written skills
    communication.
    -Transportation and logistics, warehousing management experience. Able to planning and dispatch capabilities based on
    schedule.

    Ten plus years of logistics and warehouse management experience is required.
    High-school diploma is a must.
