    JOB DESCRIPTION

    Department: Ethnic Sales Planning & TM
    Location: La Palma, CA
    Title: Trade Marketing Coordinator
    Position in the organization:
    -Reports to: Ethnic Sales Planning Manager
    Classification(Exemption Type): Non-exempt (Hourly)

    Purpose of the position: The purpose of sales planning coordinator position is to support the Sales Dept. to perform successful progress on the revenue by obtaining highly demanded products and by performing strategic sales plan and marketing strategies.

    Main Duties and Tasks

    •Sales planning of CJ Processed Food Product and OEM.
    ◦Monthly demand planning
    ◦Research and create report on Korean market and local trend
    ◦Analyze sales and gross profit

    •New product development of CJ Brand.
    ◦Research and create report on market trends and create ideas.
    ◦Tracks results of New Product Launches (Distribution, Volume, Trial, Repeat, Pricing).

    •Plan and execute marketing and promotion
    ◦Created idea of brand and sales promotion. (Advertisement, promotions, in-store-promotions)
    ◦Support strategic sales plan and marketing strategies outlined by the sales team.
    ◦Tracks the consumer promotion and marketing budget with budget administration duties

    •Sales report
    ◦Analyze operating profit and gross profit of products
    ◦Create and report monthly, quarterly and yearly sales analyze.

    Qualifications/skills for the job:
    -Minimum Requirement: Bachelor’s Degree & 2 years of related experience
    -Preferred Experience: Sales Planning & Marketing experience preferred
    -Language Skills: Bilingual (English and Korean) required
    -Other Required Skills: Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, team player, flexible and adaptable to change
    Main contacts and Communications:
    -Internal:
    1. Ongoing communication with Sales Dept. for making decision to sales quantities.
    2. Ongoing communication with SCM team for inventory management.
    3. Weekly meeting with sales dept. to collate sales promotion and review outstanding issues.
    -External: Ongoing communication with CJ HQ in Korea for pricing and ISP.
    Travel Requirement (%): 10% travel to affiliate offices (may vary depending on schedules)
    Working Hours: 9 am to 6pm (with 1 hour lunch)
