Every Thanksgiving, we gather together with friends and family to give thanks to all those who have touched our lives. This November, as we celebrate with friends and family, Zhang & Associates would us all to remember the meaning of this holiday and recognize those who have worked continuously to improve and maintain our nation’s immigration system.
Particularly this year, as a slow economy and job market place increased pressure on everyone within the United States, we would like to take this chance and really recognize those who have helped us maintain a positive outlook, despite the difficult times.
First, we would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to our clients for their continued support. We feel extremely blessed to have each one of you as our clients, and we appreciate that you have entrusted our firm to handle your immigration case and make your American dream a reality.
Additionally, Zhang & Associates would like to take this opportunity to highlight the support of the employers, professors, and colleagues of our clients, as each has played an indispensable role in our clients’ NIW, EB-1(a), EB-1(b), and PERM cases.
We also appreciate the tireless efforts of some lawmakers, who have made it a priority to advocate immigration reform and benefits. We thank those who made it possible for the 29-month OPT extension to become a reality and extend our gratitude to those individuals and lawmakers who helped push the USCIS to resume premium processing for certain I-140s. We extend additional thanks to those in the House Judiciary Subcommittee on Immigration who brought to light the important issue of unused “lost” visa numbers through their approval of the visa recapture bill and the many politicians and media people who focuses their attention on immigration issues during this election year.
We would also like to take recognize the hard work and dedication of the USCIS immigration officers, who, whether via phone or email, treat our firm and our clients with respect. We appreciate your effort and professionalism as well as your continued recognition of the need for procedural changes to speed up processing times, particularly for the I-485 Adjustment of Status name and security check process.
Just as each of us in the United States celebrates Thanksgiving in our own unique way, we at Zhang & Associates realize that our clients; some law makers; most USCIS officers; and the employers, professors, and colleagues of our clients have each played a positive role in our work and our lives. We must all remember, especially during the tough economic times, to remain positive and truly appreciate the contributions each individual, immigrants and citizens alike, has made to this great nation. Together, we all help overcome challenges, create American dreams and truly make the United States a country of immigrants, past and present.
We wish you a very happy Thanksgiving and a wonderful holiday season!
