I just took a team manager position offer.
Well it’s gonna be small team(5-6 people).
I have been managing small projects but since I have some time, I would like to take a look some tip and knowhow on management skill or method, if I may,

There are lots of books about team management so you can read a couple of those books for skills/methods. Studying psychology will also help. But I think you’d better first learn more about standard procedure of the company, and about your team members.

Technical한 포지션인지는 잘 모르겠지만, 만약 그렇다면 자기가 manage하는 사람들보다 그분야에 대해 많이 아시는게 중요할 겁니다. 예전에 제가 일할때 제 위에 있는 미국 상사가 있었는데, 별로 아는것도 없고 입은 좀 살아서 아는체 얘기는 많이 하는 사람이 있었는데, 정말 피곤했답니다. 물론 핵심적인 일은 저를 포함해서 그 밑 엔지니어들이 다 했고요. 한마디로 많이 알아야 존경을 받습니다.
