Summary The Supervisor, MPA Support is responsible for all duties related to inbound and export MPA operations, supervising and troubleshooting the entire MPA operation team, efficiently supporting weekly and monthly closing reports, monitor AR and AP. Additionally, this position will lead and assist various projects as required. Responsibilities General MPA Operations (Inbound, Outbound, and In-land) Oversee the transportation of freight and ensure complete customer satisfaction by facilitating timely and accurate communication Provide guidance and direction to the MPA team on operational decisions based on immediate requirements and urgent transportation Liaise with customers, suppliers and ocean carriers, inland transportation companies to ensure that a premium level of customer service is always present Accurately manage and maintain departmental operational tasks such as accounting, reporting, and records keeping in accordance with internal policies and state and federal regulations Manage accounts to retain existing relationships and grow share of business Supervise the Operation team and Troubleshooting Lead, coach, enforce, empower and direct reports to perform and achieve in line with company values and strategy, and department goals adhering to company SOP and policies Communicate pending work and/or unresolved problems to the following personnel Prioritizes and delegates work tasks among the team members Customer Services and Client Management Drives performance improvement of operation and customer relations to achieve KPIs Prioritizes and delegates work tasks among the team members Ensures that all customer inquiries are responded to promptly and professionally Maintain Data Updates in Operation System Regularly maintain updates in operation systems Maintain database/record-keeping in the systems Accomplishes management missions by completing related results as needed Compensation Range $65,000 - $84,000 per year (Subject to Compensation Study Upon Candidate Selection) Benefits of working at Hyundai GLOVIS America Inc.
