Your role and what you’ll do*:

Title: Staff Accountant

Reports to: Accounting Manager/Controller

FLSA Status: Exempt

This role deals with very responsible accounting work involving the receipt and processing of invoices for

payment and vendors in support of all organizational operations. Activities associated with the job include

verifying that all information received is correct and has the required supporting documentation, applying the

correct accounting code, entering the information into the correct database and processing for payment.

Additional activities include the maintenance of files and related documentation for all service providers and

vendors, generating year-end statements (1099’s) indicating total compensation received for the year and

reviewing accounts payable batches prepared by other accounts payable personnel for proper expense coding

and data entry.

*This position will have a high degree of interaction with vendors, suppliers and internal customers alike.

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor of Science degree with emphasis in accounting and finance.
• Minimum work experience with at least 3 years experience in accounting/finance.
• Understanding of generally accepted accounting principles, cost accounting with emphasis
• on job costing.
• Excellent PC skills, Excel Spreadsheet and Microsoft Word.
• Considerable knowledge of standard accounting practices and procedures pertaining to the
• accounts payable process.
• Excellent analytical and writing skills required.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions.
• Bi-Lingual English/Korean OR English/Spanish a plus!
