Now Editing “Sr. Logistics Planning Analyst – Newberry” Name * Password * Email Topic Title (Maximum Length 80) Company * Location Expires at SUMMARY As a logistic operations analyst for Newberry Samsung Electronics Home Appliance (SEHA), this person will be working in our Newberry Samsung facility to provide comprehensive Home Appliance logistics services throughout the U.S. nationwide ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Arrange empty trailers based on SEHA's daily loading plan Supply empty trailers to ensure timely loading schedules Ensure inventory checks to fulfill daily loading requirements Confirm the number of empty trailers for loading and report to SDS Provide daily SDS reports for the right trailer numbers Check loading status and pick up schedules Ensure loading completion before trucking company arrives for pick-up Ensure there is no idle time or waiting time prior to pick up Track and gather information from daily SDS & SHEA reports. Track information on real-time and maintain daily reports to SDS & SHEA Meet with SEHA&SDS to troubleshoot operation issues Generate Incident & claim report when it needed Manage KPI; check and weekly reports Back up for Dispatcher 1 Support as back-up for Dispatcher position when needed Qualifications This job requires a High School Degree and Prefers a Bachelor's Degree OR an equivalent combination of education and experience. Overall Related Experience: 2 - 3+ years of experience required OR an equivalent combination of education and experience in Outbound Logistics SKILLS Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient with PCs Basic knowledge of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook, along with experience using database systems is highly preferred Strong ability to identify and correct errors. Detail-oriented with the ability to work in a deadline-driven environment.
