About Neptune Financial

Neptune Financial (“NepFin”) is a next generation financial services company that is bringing technology-enabled commercial lending to the middle market. With our team’s experience in technology, traditional leveraged finance and online lending, we are poised to transform the way that middle market borrowers access debt financing through our state of the art, user-friendly, data-enabled platform. We’re currently looking to build out our early engineering team to help us shape our codebase, product vision, and write the roadmap of how customers interact with NepFin.

Job Description:

– Work closely with the founding team in the ideation, development, and launch of an innovative online lending platform serving the middle market space
– Play a critical role in the development process of translating that vision into a delightful customer experience
– Maintain high code quality, forward-thinking design, and advocate for best practices across the engineering team
– Demonstrate leadership skills working across organizational boundaries

Requirements:

– 2+ years of relevant full-stack development experience (B2B or FinTech a plus)
– Languages: Python (Flask preferred, Django), JavaScript (Vue.js, React, Angular)
– Data stores: PostgreSQL, Redis
– Knowledge of responsive CSS and feature extension tools such as SASS or PostCSS
– Passion for building end-to-end product experiences ranging from backend integrations to interactive UI flows
– Startup experience or experience working in small teams strongly desired
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical fields
