Job Description

Ability to translate complex functional and technical requirements into detailed architecture and design
Perform in overall fields of systems architecture, scalability, reliability, and performance
Develop and deliver quality services/solutions using Javascript, HTTP, REST, RDBMS, No SQL, and a variety of other web technologies
Maintain current technical knowledge to support shifting technology
Candidate must be able to work with a minimal technical supervision and supplemental engineering support

Qualifications

MS/BS degree in computer science or equivalent experience
4-10 years overall experience in development
Core competencies in Javascript(node.js), C++, and/or Java
Familiarity with scripting languages Ruby, Perl, or Python and other functional programming
Expertise in building REST based reactive micro services platforms and understanding relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL), nosql databases (rethinkDB, elastic, Apache Cassandra)
Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, enterprise systems, and asynchronous architectures
Strong verbal and written communication skills needed
Strong track record of delivering high-performance writing, reliable and maintainable codes
Expertise in Devops processes, tooling of deployment, monitoring, site reliability engineering, and managing applications in cloud.

Problem solving, design, OO and functional programming, distributed systems, web services, scaling, operational proficiency
