Finance & Accounting Manager
The Manager- Accounting position will play a vital role in ensuring the Company’s accounting records are complete and accurate and its consolidated financial statements are prepared in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles. Position will manage/direct accounting staff in the preparation and maintenance of accounting records to properly reflect the financial transactions of the Company. Position will also support the Company’s business through financial analysis.
Job Duties:
- Manage accounting staff in the preparation and maintenance of accounting records related to general as well as moderately complex business transactions and accounting areas
- Perform technical accounting research and apply accounting standards to business transactions
- Prepare/review technical accounting memorandum to document and support positions taken
- Perform financial analysis to support business decisions
- Review and analyze financial reports and tax planning
- Manage monthly closing for general as well as moderately complex accounting areas including oversight of related account reconciliations
- Oversee and ensure performance and documentation of internal controls related to areas of responsibility
- Oversee and ensure compliance with internal accounting policies and procedures related to areas of responsibility
- Identify potential areas of improvement and work towards implementing enhancements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business (with concentration in accounting)
- CPA or CMA certification highly desirable
- Minimum of 5-7 years recent experience combined in public and corporate accounting
- Extractive industry experience desirable
- Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP as well as applicable SEC rules and regulations
- Previous experience with moderately complex accounting areas
- Ability to manage accounting staff
- Well developed analytical skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities
- Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written)

Human Resource Manager
The ideal candidate for this position will have experience within training and development, employee retention, management counseling, and general HR functions.
Responsibilities:
· Support the implementation of appropriate HR solutions aligned with overall business direction.
· Support and influence business on strategic HR matters.
· Formulate and recommend Human Resources policies and objectives for the company with regard to employee relations.
· Manage complex employee relations issues. Investigate employee issues and complaints in timely, professional manner; respond to and resolve issues as appropriate. Handle legal issues; deal with possible conflicts related to employer practices.
· Process recruiting and termination process legally and effectively.
· Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations when assisting in the creation of policies and procedures.
· Raising proactive issues with managers, identifying practical solutions to complex and diverse HR issue and recommending appropriate action plans.
· Communicate information to all team members
Job Requirements:
· Minimum 5years of experience at a large company
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Industrial Relations, Human Resource management
· Thorough knowledge of corporate benefits and relevant regulations
