1. Position Title : Product Quality Assurance Manager

Position Summary:
The Product Quality Manager is responsible for leading a team to coordinate and manage Product Quality Account team under minimal supervision. Co-work with QA and R&D teams to ensure successful execution of wireless carrier approval. Analyze quality of issues reported by the carrier and the results to implement new strategies for further improvement. The Product Quality Manager will work directly under the Sr Manager of QA UT team and help improve infrastructure and standard of product quality asurrance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Other duties may be assigned. In this position, either directly or through others, the incumbent will:
Set-up product quality team and make resource plan.
Maintains project schedule and milestones along with the product approval schedule for each carrier.
Prepare and manage all required items for carrier’s quality issues follow-up process.
Plan, organize and prioritize multiple complex assignments and projects. Manage the communication with internal team(R&D, QA, PM) to manage the every issues/feedbacks from each internal team, communicating with the carrier. Must attend the weekly QC meeting with the carrier and need to share with other teams. Translate customer issues into specific tasks for all functional areas and proactively capture, track and drive all issues to closure. Track and execute project schedules, milestones and deliverables for executing wireless products from wireless carrier lab entry to wireless carrier approval. Communicate the issue status to the customer and the engineering teams. Correctly represent the urgency of issues and escalate issues appropriately. Work closely with the hardware and software engineering teams, product managers, and quality assurance team, and use creativity to find solutions to technical and logistic issues. Regularly communicate the project status and key issues to management. Use technical engineering knowledge and experience to understand customer applications test cases and requirements. Make recommendations to management personnel or product development engineers on corrective actions required and effectively adapt solutions agreed upon in a timely manner to ensure correct and effective product launches and installation. Write Daily, weekly and Final reports.
Background/Experience to qualify for this position, the following minimal background and skill levels are required:
A Bachelors Degree in engineering or related electronics technical training from four-year college, university or heavy related on the job training at a significant level
7+ years technical or telecommunications engineering related experiences in mobile phone/tablet or related industry
Strong technical background and experience working with customers in Wireless products area
Experience working with embedded consumer products
Working experience on Wireless Carrier certification is Plus.
Project/Program Management of software and hardware products is Plus.
Strong Project Management skills and the ability to prioritize multiple projects in a complex working environment.
Ability to communicate to all levels of management and prioritize day to day activities to align with team goal.

Ability to understand all relevant technologies in current market and evolving market place. (WCDMA, GSM, CDMA, WiMax, LTE)
Must be able to influence others in acceptance and approval while also providing technical clarification. High degree of technical aptitude in electronics testing.
Demonstrated English language competency in both written and oral communication modes for both internal and external communications.
Plan, organize and prioritize multiple engineering support assignments and projects as directed by the manager of the group and/or other departmental officers.
Read, interpret and act on very high level of proper understanding of technical documents, engineering test materials and related documents based on corporate engineering standards and philosophy.
In customer service related situations demonstrate high competency level in communication skills using both oral and written modes for internal and external personnel at all management and staff organizational levels for both persuasion in sales decision activities and/or the communication of technical information. Must be able to communicate in writing, through email and reports, or orally complex technical matters to an audience that may include less technically oriented listeners.
Work independently and in a team environment in order to achieve personal and team goals and complete assignments within established time frames.
Tasks are guided by clearly defined objectives and functional direction with an implied knowledge of task alternatives and decision making experience.
Skills and knowledge to test and evaluate new Wireless Products, including the verification of product features by simulation and/or reproduction of errors and complaints of Wireless products.
The ability to develop and maintain excellent working relationships with multiples levels within the company.
Strong preference for bilingual ability (English and Korean)
