    Summary
    This position will take responsibility for safety of daily deliveries for Global Automotive department and conduct asset management. The Safety and asset administrator will assure that Glovis America, Inc. complies with applicable federal and state safety, environmental laws, transportation regulations, and standards for our deliveries. This position will also be responsible for conducting all our equipment inspections and enforce adherence to laws and regulations governing the safety of individuals and truckers and protection of the environment.

    Compensation
    $60,000-$75,000/Year (Subject to Compensation Study Upon Candidate Selection)

    Responsibilities

    Primary
    Maintain safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal transportation Safety rules and regulation
    Make sure to manage and check our daily deliveries and monitor truckers’ driving for keeping and maintaining our safety
    Supervise/conduct Safety trainings and assist truckers and Solve and any operational safety issues
    Planning and implementing safety rules and programs at all FF locations and Administer all safety compliance programs.
    Plan, oversee and coordinate day-to-day safety activities to improve effectiveness, productivity and performance
    Customer service and client management to increase service and safety satisfaction level
    Analyze data to assess performance and implement on any identified process and safety improvements
    Help develop standard operational procedure (SOP) and safety for Global Automotive Dept.
    Make sure to track and input all claims and accidents related to transportation safety
    Files permit applications, new and renewals and follow up when claim and safety issue
    Conduct and document correspondence with environmental regulatory agencies and maintain all environmental records & files
    Monitor environmental agencies for additions/modifications to regulations and implement company changes to maintain compliance
    Coordinate communications and action between internal departments, outside customers & vendors, contractors, and agencies to maintain our transportation safety
    Coordinate “right-to-know” programs regarding hazardous chemicals and other substances which can include but is not limited
    Tasks include but are not limited to: Conducting internal audits, identifying and mitigating potential safety hazards, etc.
    Secondary
    Manage FF Asset (ex. chassis, trailer, etc.) (pre-inspection, repair analyze repair costs)
    Keep tracking and record and usage history keeping of our asset such as chassis
    Manage and monitor demurrage, detention and/or any accessorial charges of our asset
    To validate and check the M&R charges from vendors
    Maintains a system of controls over asset transactions
    Maintains and support Logistics Analyst & team members responsibilities
    Makes and implements recommendations to improve team members’ operation activities
    Providing excellent logistics solutions
    Develop, implement and manage assessments in regards to our equipment
    Tertiary
    Support for all administrative tasks from management as needed
    Provide reports and information to internal customers (Operation, Accounting and others) as needed
    Support special projects requested by customers and internal managements, etc.
    All other duties as assigned

    Education & Experience
    Bachelors Degree Preferred, H.S. Diploma/GED Required
    3-5 Years of Direct Experience in Safety, Transportation, Logistics, SCM, or Business Administration

    Physical Requirements
