Hardware Engineer
Job Description:
The person develops antenna arrays for nondestructive evaluation of
civil engineering structures, in a research project awarded by
the Advanced Technology Program (ATP) at the National Institute of
Standards and Technology (NIST) for the period from October 1, 2003
to September 30, 2006.
The person designs, fabricates, and tests antenna elements and arrays
for the nondestructive evaluation system. The person also designs
feed networks and switching boards for controlling the antenna arrays.
Qualification:
Must be 2-5 years experienced with microwave engineering
including design and the experimental skills to develop the
antenna array system. Must be well communicated in English
(in Japanese, Chinese, and Korean would be preferred).
MS in electrical engineering specializing in microwave engineering
is required.
Offers:
H-1b will be sponsored for non-residents of the States.
50k~60k /year + 4% of fringe benefit
Extended hire after project would be possible upon the person’s
output and request.
