    ■ Title: Research Engineer
    Reports to: VP, Engineering
    We are looking for a full-stack engineer passionate about creating the best user experience for our
    customers. The ideal candidate will oversee the manufacturing the device and improve the quality of the
    device by developing the automation program for the calibration. As a key contributor to Stratio’s Internet
    of Things business, the successful candidate will work on the design and implementation of the platform
    that powers Stratio’s product.
    ■ Duties:
    – Implement product changes as required.
    – Perform all necessary quality control steps.
    – Develop and execute a plan to deliver project requirements on schedule and at required performance level.
    – Stay current in the field by studying state-of-the art development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment; participating in continuing education; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
    – Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation systems, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, and code comments.
    – Work with Stratio’s engineers to develop a server and an app by studying user needs, systems
    flow, data usage, and work processes.
    ■ Required Education and Experience:
    – BS in Science or Engineering
    – Willingness to jump in and get things done
    – Desire to work at a small startup with big ambitions
    ■ Desired Qualifications:
    – MS or PhD in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
    – Strong background in Computer Science and/or Electrical Engineering

    Statio, Inc. was founded in 2013 as the culmination of a decade of work done at Stanford University and
    has received National Science Foundation (NSF) funding for its core technology, a low-cost germaniumbased
    shortwave infrared (SWIR) image sensor. Stratio’s goal is to make SWIR imaging available to the
    mass market for the first time in history, revolutionizing the SWIR sensing field and opening up many
    new high volume applications. Our technical team includes Ph.D.’s with expertise in IC design, optical
    systems, and semiconductor manufacturing. We have our headquarters in San Jose, and we also have a
    branch office in Seoul, South Korea.
