Stereo Display, Inc. , an innovative vision/microscope inspection system developing company, is currently looking for a firmware engineer with 5-7 years industry experience.
Position title: Firmware Engineer for vision/microscope system – C/C++/C#/script – Anaheim, CA
Position Responsibilities:
- Developing firmware in C/C++/C# for hardware control.
- Designing, reading and troubleshooting of electronics circuits.
- The position is responsible for product development and delivery of automated microscope imaging system for defect verification.
- Primary focus will be on embedded firmware development for motion (Stepping motor)/vision control (CCD sensor), and corresponding electronics hardware development.
- Tasks include new product design (including preparing specifications), hardware/firmware integration, testing and debugging prototype hardware, generating engineering documentation, support for current production and fielded product.
- Additional tasks occasionally include directing sourcing, manufacturing and production testing activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Eningeering.
- Minimum 5 years of industry experience as a firmware engineer with motion and vision control experience including specification, implementation, validation and regression testing of real-time controller firmware.

Strong background in circuit theory, and analog and digital controls.
- Experience in software engineering, and real-time firmware design for control systems with C/C++/C# language.
- The successful individual must have the ability to design, create specification, strong hand-on experience and the ability to work with standard equipment.
