i came across with this youtube videos explaining about evidences of evolution very well. it’s 3 short videos. it also briefly talks about “some” religous groups skewed tactics to attack the theory of evolution.

This is very interesting. Thanks for the info. I have an urge to check out the evidences mentioned, but that would take quite a lot of time. Unless the author lies about the evidences, it makes very good sense to me.
Probably I should look at the argument from the other party before counter argue on this. Thanks anyway!

btw, I got a question.
The main argument in the video is that the evolutionary tree constructed based on anatomical similarity coincides with the fossil record and the classification based on genetic similarity.

For the argument to hold, the evolutionary tree should have been constructed completely independent from the other two, which is not quite so. The evolutionary tree itself has evolved with time and it doesn’t seem to be independent from others. Even with quick searching in wiki, the evolutionary tree is, these days, constructed based on the genetic information. If the tree with anatomy was really perfect as the video claims, that shouldn’t have come up.

This is an interesting issue, and I will spend some time… but I will have to put it off a little because of my heavy work load these days.
