The first impression is very important, therefore, once you have
a chance to talk to company’s representatives, don’t just hand your
resume, show your confidents and try to carry the conversation.
If you can exchange any subjects that are relate to the company,
or your knowledge in the dept that you are applying for,
that would give a pretty good impression.
Also don’t forget to ask for their business cards and pls do
follow up to remind who you were. Remember, they’re so busy at work,
so even you don’t receive their reply right a way, don’t give up!!
And mingle around while you are a job fair too. You just never know.
Also try to involve in groups- relate to your work- in your area to
build a networking. Almost 90% of candidates are hiring by
networking. Go check http://www.craigslist.org, in your area,
also, practice your English, you need that more than anything else
now. Good luck.
