    To “…”:
I think the annual salary somewhat depends on geographic area as well as the size of a company: I was talking about NY/NJ and MA area. I heard some large companies in NY/NJ area (J&J, Pfizer, Merck, to name a few) pays ~$80K for well-qualified candidates, and mid-sized companies in Boston area generally pays ~$70K for R&D positions after post-doc. But my statistics is limited, and after all, I am not a bio-tech engineer: I am kind of “observer” as my wife is in that area. (She doesn’t make that much money, though: she is a post-doc :-))

    To “궁금이”:
“가서 힘이 들고 어렵더라도.. 잃는것보다야 얻는게 많겠다는 생각이었습니다.”: Although I have no idea about your background, I like your positive attitude. Again, my wife is in bio-sci/tech area (she is in medicinal chemistry), and I see people in her area say that there are more opportunities in US than in Korea.
I don’t know when you are coming to US, but here are a couple of links that might help you.

(Ossining is on Hudson line in green. More info at http://www.mta.nyc.ny.us/)

(Westchester county web: some public transportation info, although you will probably need a car anyway.)

Just curious: will you be working at Warren Pharmaceuticals? (I am sorry if not.)
    In any case, good luck.
