Grant Supplies, a wholesale supply distributor, is seeking a full-time Purchasing Specialist to join our team located in Long Island City, NY. This person should be highly organized, efficient, and quick-thinking.

Position: Purchasing Specialist

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Supply purchasing for each vendor individual is responsible for stock purchasing for all locations
• Maintain a strong relationship with vendor representatives; follow up with requests by salespeople on vendor literature (catalogues and brochures).
• Update all pricing changes.
• Monitor orders are fulfilled in a timely manner and follow up with all back-orders and missing items for each vendor.
• Follow up with inventory on each branches and transfer materials when branch inventory is low

Position : Marketing Specialist

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Recommend, implement and maintain site design and operation
• Conduct extensive social media outreach
• Create company literature and other forms of communication
• Create marketing and promotional materials, both print and electronic
• Supports sales staff by providing sales data, market trends, account analyses, new product
Information; relaying customer services requests
• Keep up to date with industry trends
• Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different
• Requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
• Performs other duties as required to meet the needs of position, department, or business needs

Position : Inside Sales Trainee (Electrical/Lighting)

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive and direct assistance to sales manager
• Provide accurate and timely follow-up of quotation/pricing requests via phone and e-mail transmittal
• Quickly learning and retaining product knowledge and specifications
• Maintaining effective and strong relationships with customer base
• Deliver excellence in customer satisfaction and service
• Effectively work in cooperation with department staff and management on duties assigned
