Now Editing “Purchasing Specialist” Name * Password * Email Topic Title (Maximum Length 80) Company * Location Expires at My client is currently seeking a Purchasing Specialist who will be responsible for various aspects of supply chain management responsibilities, including but not limited to, vendor sourcing/ evaluation, raw material procurement, market driven forecasting and more. <strong>Key Responsibilities : - Serve as liaison between customer and vendor. - Manage and coordinate activities, such as PO forecasting , shipment schedules and supplier development. - Problem solve any department related matters such as quality, shipping schedules, pricing, and more. - Negotiate and finalize quotations and pricing. - Responsible for tracking PSI and issuing import/export purchase orders as needed. - Prepare daily and monthly r eport s to the management . - Any ad-hoc responsibilities requested by the management </strong>Requirements: - At minimum 3 - 5 years of relative experience. - Bachelor’s Degree. - CPM, SCM, Six Sigma certification preferred. - Proficient in MS Office products.
