Overview:
The Company with over 9 branches in North Americas is a total logistics service provider on a global scale with a customized approach to meet the client’s needs and demands and is currently seeking highly energetic and reliable individuals to fill a Purchasing Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
• Serve as liaison between customer and vendor.
• Manage and coordinate activities, such as PO forecasting, shipment schedules and supplier development.
• Problem solving any department related matters such as quality, shipping schedules, pricing, and more.
• Negotiate and finalize quotations and pricing.
• Responsible for tracking PSI and issuing import/export purchase orders as needed.
• Prepare daily and monthly reports to the management.
• Any ad-hoc responsibilities requested by the managementRequirements:
• At minimum +5 years of relative experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree.
• CPM, SCM, Six Sigma certification preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office products. (Excel/Power Point)
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Detail Oriented.
• Ability to self motivate, and to work independently.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills with customers and coworker.Benefits:
