    Job Title: Senior Procurement Director

    Job Description:

    The Senior Procurement Director is responsible for the formulation and implementation of the company’s procurement strategy to ensure efficient operation of the supply chain and optimization of procurement costs. This role requires leading and managing the procurement team, working closely with suppliers and relevant internal departments to meet the company’s operational needs and long-term strategic goals.

    Main Responsibilities:

    Procurement Strategy Planning:

    Develop and implement the company’s procurement strategy to ensure consistency with the company’s overall strategy and business goals.

    Evaluate market trends and industry dynamics, and make procurement and supply chain optimization recommendations.

    Supplier Management:

    Identify, evaluate and select suppliers, and establish and maintain long-term cooperative relationships with key suppliers.

    Perform regular supplier performance evaluations to ensure that suppliers can meet quality, delivery and cost requirements.

    Cost Control and Budget Management:

    Develop and manage procurement budgets, monitor procurement expenditures, and ensure that cost control goals are achieved.

    Optimize procurement prices and terms through negotiation and contract management to achieve cost savings.

    Team Management:

    Recruit, train and develop procurement teams to enhance the team’s professional skills and performance.
    Set the team’s goals and performance evaluation standards to ensure that the team’s goals are consistent with the company’s strategy.
    Process Optimization and Compliance Management:

    Optimize the procurement process, promote digital transformation, and improve procurement efficiency and accuracy.
    Ensure that procurement activities comply with the company’s policies, regulations and industry standards to reduce compliance risks.
    Cross-departmental collaboration:

    Work closely with production, engineering, quality control and finance departments to ensure that procurement is consistent with the needs and goals of other departments of the company.
    Participate in new product development projects to ensure that the required materials and services are provided in a timely manner to support the smooth launch of products.
    Data Analysis and Reporting:

    Conduct market analysis and demand forecasting, accurately calculate procurement needs, and formulate procurement plans.
    Regularly provide reports on procurement data and market trends to support management decisions.
