It has global operations focused on petrochemical products, information/electronic materials, and advanced batteries. <strong>Position Overview:</strong> We are hiring a purchasing professional with 3-5+ years of general purchasing experience to purchase and manage receipt of imported and domestic raw materials. This position will also coordinate production needs and scheduling with the Production Scheduler. Frequent communication with headquarters, customers and vendors will be necessary. Potential exists for short-term travel to visit equipment and material suppliers. <strong>Job Responsibilities</strong>: • Must negotiate, report and purchase from U.S. and foreign vendors • Determine shipping method for materials using knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates • Examine contents and compare with records, such as manifests, invoices, or orders, to verify accuracy of incoming or outgoing shipments • Prepare documents such as work orders, bills of lading, and shipping orders to route materials • Record shipment data, such as weight, charges, space availability, and damages and discrepancies, for reporting, accounting, and recordkeeping purposes • Requisition and store shipping materials and supplies to maintain inventory of stock • Manage warehouse including inventory management, schedule deliveries etc. • Participate in monthly closing activities including physical inventory check, data entry, administrative tasks, analytical reports reflecting manufacturing cost, inventory amount, sales record, etc. • Effectively communicate with strong written and verbal language skills in both Korean and English <strong>Requirements:</strong> • Bachelors Degree required in Business, Supply Chain, Accounting, Finance, Economics or other related fields • SAP experience strongly preferred • Experience working in an automated manufacturing environment strongly preferred • 3 - 5+ years of relevant purchasing experience, including negotiating experience • Ability to analyze data and prepare reports, statements and projections • Excellent communication skills: verbal, written, presentation • Ability to engage in direct communication (must have fluency in Korean) with company's Korean headquarters’ Purchasing team is required <strong>Benefits:</strong> • Health, Dental, and Vision insurance • Paid Time Off • 401K • Year End Incentive <strong>Resume sent to:</strong> job@iseecareers.com More job opportunities at www.iseecareers.com I agree to the terms of service Update List
