The PLC Programmer will be heavily involved in overseeing the installation of equipment on the plant floor, and acting as the liaison between the Parent company in Korea and its US customer. The PLC Programmer will also take on ME duties, covering all warehouse duties, including but not limited to supervision and maintenance of various equipment and tools, supervision of staff, and shipping and receiving. The position calls for strong work ethic, flexibility, excellent interpersonal skills, and ability to work well with all levels of internal and external management and staff, as well as outside clients. <strong>POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES:</strong> • Powertrain Assembly Equipment Installation Management and Support – Ability to lead the procurement/launch of new and major program for controls engineering – Provide support during all stages of Equipment Installation at our client company in Michigan, including issue analysis and reporting, setup and adjustment of tooling and equipment, and communicating and meeting with customer to address and report on status of installation. – Maintain working contacts with customer, our client company in Michigan and the Parent company in Korea, keeping all lines of communication open and transparent. – Stay abreast of new controls technology, including robotics, computer graphics, and computer controls (CNC, PLC, PC, HMI, networks) – Propose and evaluate manufacturing processes and equipment – Manage deployment of new technology to minimize risks – Support and actively interact with manufacturing operations group – Manage and direct in the following duties of installation (both at our client company and at customer site) Approves controls drawing and conducts controls run off at customer site Setup and adjust tooling and equipment Floor marking Unloading equipment Equipment leveling& anchoring Equipment set up, assembly, testing, trouble shooting and de-bugging Teardown equipment Packing Arranging carriers and freight forwarders for delivery to customer – Continuously improve quality, cost, responsiveness & safety • Represents the voice of the plant – Inspect and maintain all air compressors and cranes by coordinating with all relevant vendors and suppliers, and supervising all handling and safety procedures. – Inspect and maintain all electric power and coordinate with relevant vendors and suppliers in managing handling and safety procedures. – Inspect and maintain all forklifts and lift trucks and coordinate with relevant vendors and suppliers in managing handling and safety procedures. – Inspect and maintain our client company in Michigan HVAC and generators and coordinate with relevant vendors and suppliers in managing and handling of both. – Inspect and maintain all machine tooling and coordinate with relevant vendors and suppliers in managing handling and safety procedures. – Inspect and maintain generators and coordinate with relevant vendors and suppliers in managing handling and safety procedures. – Maintain physical condition of warehouse. – Maintain shipping, receiving, warehousing, distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures. – Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by following all procedures and protocols. – Maintains plant trash dumpster and coordinates with relevant vendor to schedule maintenance. <strong>EDUCATION:</strong> • BS degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related field, from a 4-year college or university; or 3+ years of related experience <strong>EXPERIENCE</strong> • Powertrain Assembly line engineering experience and a good working knowledge of powertrain assembly line operation. • Problem Solving and Resolution • Knowledge of controls Technology, including robotics, computer graphics and computer controls (CNC, PLC, PC, HMI) • Strong knowledge and experience in using machine tooling: – Lathes – Milling and grinding tools – Ability to identify and address issues if problems occur with machines (ability to issue quotes to vendors and suppliers) • Experience in handling crane lifts, fork lifts, and scissor lifts (driving, maneuvering, etc.) • Superior oral and written communication skills and a focus on client service, together with the ability to exercise independent judgment and initiative while maintaining high confidentiality. • Should have working knowledge of Rockwell and Siemens controls HW and architecture • Demonstrated ability to lead installation activities for a new and major project • Demonstrated ability to run off machining and assembly equipment at the OEM’s and plant <strong>BENEFITS:</strong> • Health Insurance (Dental, Vision, and Life included) • Paid Time Off (PTO) • 401K <strong>RESUME SENT TO:</strong> iseeconsulting114@gmail.com <strong>ISEE Career Solutions</strong>, Inc.,is a professional services firm specializing in staffing and recruiting that connects professional people with professional organizations.
