Nexon America is seeking a Korean/English Translator/Interpreter!

Job Description:
The Translator/Interpreter of the Localization Team will provide translation and interpretation services for the Game Planning & Design Department. The individual must be able to translate and interpret Korean to English and vice versa in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to translate and interpret communication materials, documents, presentations memos, meetings, conference calls and presentations in a professional and confidential manner. The Translator/Interpreter will report to the Localization Team Lead.

Major Responsibilities:
Provide translation and interpretation support for the Game Planning & Design Department.
Translate communication materials, documents presentations, memos and other electronic data utilizing software or tools.
Interpret meetings conference calls, and presentations.
Ensure that all materials being translated and reported are kept confidential and that all data are archived with appropriate levels of security clearance for internal or external releases.
Develop and maintain reference materials to support translation and interpretation processes.
Maintain records of completed interpretations and other assignments as needed.
Perform special projects as directed by the team lead.

Job Requirements:
Native level fluency in spoken and written English and Korean required.
BA in English preferred or equivalent combination of education and 2+ years experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, diplomacy/people skills a must.
Supportive attitude and a team-player.
Effectively present information to management or public groups in a professional manner.
Proficiency with MS Office suite and internet use for research and business email.
Must be willing to work additional hours as necessary.
Simultaneous translation skill a significant plus.
Experience in the online gaming industry, a plus.
Translation certification, a plus.
