Our client company located in Libertyville is looking for an experienced and skilled Network/Systems Engineer. As a Network/System Engineer, you must represent its company well by being responsible, punctual and motivated to go above and beyond the call of duty. You must also be highly detail-oriented and organized with excellent analytic and problem-solving abilities. It is also important that you display excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Network/Systems Engineer• Expert knowledge and hands-on experience in configuring/maintaining Cisco ASA 5510/5520/5525-x, Dell N2000 switches, Netgear GS748 switches, Load balancer (Kemp Loadmaster 2000).
• Expert knowledge and hands-on experience in configuring/maintaining VPN/MPLS connection between multiple sites.
• Expert knowledge and hands-on experience in configuring/migrating/maintaining Apache/IIS web servers via Windows 2k8, 2k12, CentOS 6/7.
• VOIP/IPBX configuration/management and migration
• DNS Server management. (Primary/Secondary)
• Network cabling/patch paneling
• Capable of configuring backup solutions and schedules
• Recommends/Conducts hardware/software upgrades using industry best practicesGreat to have:
• Willingness to self-learn and master new technologies.
• Knowledge of configuring Honeywell NetAXS/Win-PAK Door security systems (Hardware and Software)
• Knowledge of hypervisors: (VmWare ESXi, Proxmox)
• Knowledge of Shoretel VOIP System
• Knowledge of Unified communication (Skype for Business/Lync)Education and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
