RESPONSIBILITIES • Create and implement a social media strategy that aligns with the company’s overall marketing objective and brand identity. • Plan and schedule social media content in advance using content calendars to ensure consistent posting and alignment with marketing campaigns and events. • Monitor social media channels, respond to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely manner, and actively engage with the audience to build relationships and foster community growth. • Generate engaging and relevant content for social media platforms, including written posts, images, videos, infographics, and other multimedia formats. • Develop and manage paid social media advertising campaigns across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, X, and others to reach specific target demographics and achieve marketing objectives. • Work closely with the Meta manager to ensure that we have created the right funnel and retargeting strategy for our paid ads and organic post boosts. • Track key performance metrics such as reach, engagement, engagement rate, post impressions, etc. to reach specific marketing objectives. • Monitor social media channels for mentions of the brand, industry trends, and relevant news, and actively participate in conversations to maintain brand reputation and awareness. • Develop protocols and strategies for handling social media crises and negative feedback and respond appropriately to mitigate damage to brand reputation. QUALIFICATIONS • Bachelor’s degree in social media, communications, marketing, or related field. • Proven experience managing social media accounts for a brand or organization. • Proficient in graphic design skills or familiarity with design tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator). • Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premier Pro or Final Cut Pro. • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to craft engaging content tailored to different audiences. • Proficient in using social media management tools and analytics platforms. • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a passion for staying ahead of social media trends. • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously. • Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as required.
