Job description:

Support existing MySQL system

Installation and Configuration of database infrastructure

Develop tools and scripts to monitor performance

Capacity planning and measurements

Ensuring MySQL runs in a stable and optimal fashion.

Resolution of complex issues related to database, network, and OS

Consulation within the orignization

Participate in 24×7 on-call rota and night deployment as needed.

Skills needed:

2+ years experience with MySQL Linux/Solaris

Experience with replication setup and configuration

Experience with Unix networking

Ability to troubleshoot and performance runing for Linux and MySQL

Php/perl bash scripting skills

Ability to manage priorities in a fast paced changing environment

Excellent organizational and communication

LAMP application development experience a plus

MySQL DBA certification a plus
