    Context

    The Air Liquide Group, world leader in industrial and medical gas, provides Bulk gases, Electronics specialty gases (ESG), advanced precursors ALOHA product line, equipments and services, to manufacturers of Semiconductor, Flat Panel Display and PV cells.

    The job offer is to join the team in charge of developing the ALOHA product line for the future manufacturing process for semiconductors in Korea

    Air Liquide is establishing a satellite R&D center in Korea focused primarily on precursors for ALD / CVD known as ALOHA product line.

    Mission, stakes and expected results:

    Be a member of the team which designs, synthesizes, and performs deposition test of various compounds either by ALD, MOCVD or other deposition techniques.

     

    • Understanding of the needs of the internal customers and final customers. As well as background and prior art validation through scientific and patent bibliographic review.
    • Propose solutions either from existing IP free molecules or new molecules synthesis.
    • Synthesize and characterize the new molecules in the Lab at various volumes depending on the characterization requirements. A few g up to a few 100 g.
    • Help to validate the proposed compounds through thin film deposition tests (ALD, MOCVD), and film characterizations.
    • Support product deployment / process development with international customer and OEM in relationship with marketing team.

     

    He (she) will work in a team of researchers from various nationalities, all working to develop precursor’s solutions for the semiconductor industry.

     

    Researchers evolve in an international context and interact frequently with other Research centers of Air Liquide in Asia, Europe and in the USA.

     

    Collaborations with leading universities enables highest standard of scientific achievements.

     

    Researchers are encouraged to write patent applications and to publish their results in leading specialized publications after approval by their management. 

    Necessary Competencies:

    PhD in Metal-Organic Chemistry

    Prior experience in CVD or ALD Process development at OEM or customer in Semiconductor, LED, FPD, or other field is a plus.

    Experience: 0 to 5 years.

    English

    Korean is a plus.
