You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze production processes, configure MES software, and provide technical expertise to optimize manufacturing operations. This role requires a strong understanding of manufacturing systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and proficiency in MES software and related technologies.. Roles & Responsibilities 1. MES System Design and Configuration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design MES solutions that align with manufacturing process needs and business objectives. Configure and customize MES software to meet specific manufacturing requirements, including process workflows, data collection, and reporting functionalities. Conduct testing and validation of MES systems to ensure accuracy and reliability. 2. System Implementation and Integration: Support the implementation and deployment of MES systems in manufacturing facilities, working closely with project teams to ensure successful delivery within defined timelines and budgets. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including vendors and contractors, to integrate MES systems with other manufacturing systems, such as ERP, SCADA, and PLCs. Conduct system testing and troubleshooting to resolve technical issues during implementation and integration phases. 3. System Maintenance and Support: Monitor the performance and availability of MES systems, proactively identifying and resolving issues to minimize downtime and disruptions to production operations. Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshooting system errors, and guiding them in utilizing MES functionalities effectively. Collaborate with IT teams to manage system upgrades, patches, and security enhancements. 4. Process Improvement and Optimization: Analyze manufacturing processes, data, and workflows to identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvement using the MES system. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements, including automation of manual tasks, reduction of cycle times, and enhancement of production workflows through the utilization of MES functionalities. Support continuous improvement initiatives by providing data analysis and insights to drive informed decision-making. 5. Documentation and Training: Create and maintain documentation, including system configuration, procedures, and troubleshooting guides. Provide training and guidance to end-users on utilizing MES functionalities, ensuring proper system usage and adherence to standard operating procedures.
