RESPONSIBITIES:
– Performs material expediting functions involving monitoring of progress, preparation of procedures, documentation of communications and meetings, and identification/evaluation of project supply chain management issues and problems to achieve supplier on-time performance.
– Lead KOM (Kick-Off Meeting) with supplier and Samsung Engineering.
– Supplier’s manufacturing progress supervision and supply contract lead time management.
– Manage supplier document submission including engineering drawings, manufacturing drawings, manufacturing schedule with critical path, Inspection and Test Procure, etc.
– Supplier’s shop-load analysis, sub-supplier status monitoring.
– Progress payment control, supplier’s change order management.
– Sub-supplier status monitoring.
– Supplier’s shop inspection and logistics coordination, communication management with suppliers.
– Coordinate inspection and customer witness test at the supplier site as well as shipping as per PO incoterm and logistic.
– Communication management with suppliers.
– Verify supplier invoice and progress payment control.
– Manage supplier change order.
– Reports status progress to client, project management, and the company’s upper management.
– Monitors material cost and quality, schedule performance and coordinates efforts to correct problems or define areas of additional cost.
– Other duties as assigned.
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
– 1+ years experience in the supplier management preferred including 1 + years in petrochemical, oil/gas or EPC industry.
– CPSM(Certified Professional in Supply Management) certification preferred.
– Bachelor’s degree preferred with emphasis in business administration, engineering, and/or economics.
– Experience includes the performance of material manufacturing management, inspection tasks on projects with an understanding of job specification and standards, and schedule expediting tasks on projects with an understanding of job requirements.
– Handle disruptions in order to meet deadlines.
– Demonstrated ability to perform materials management functions.
– Knowledgeable of legal terminology within materials management terms and conditions and has the ability to evaluate and resolve risks due to deviations.
– Personal computer skills, mainframe operations as it relates to procurement, related software, and knowledge of procurement/project management preferred.
– Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
– Language proficiency in English including speaking, reading and writing, and Korean proficiency preferred.
– Travel required (30%)
