    POSITION SUMMARY

    The primary focus of this position is to partner with our many departments to develop the look and feel of global branding. A knowledge and love of fashion, design, typography, art and pop culture is essential. Why? We work with trends and understanding the global culture is key. Projects are usually undertaken and completed under very tight timelines.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    – Identify cosmetics, skincare, and consumer behavior trends globally
    – Develop marketing, social, content strategies and plans to drive awareness, new customers and sales
    – Partner cross-functionally with sales and HQ to build 360 marketing strategies and execute marketing calendar
    – Social Media and Content Strategy & Development (50%):
    – Develop social and content strategy to increase community, drive engagement and deliver new programs to market
    – Be part of the Content Development team to develop content (video, copy, images) for social platforms
    – Ensure all timelines and cost objectives are met with content development plan and calendar

    Marketing and PR (25%):

    – Work cross functionally with sales, operations and design to develop and execute 360 marketing plans
    – Create marketing creative and copy including packaging, merchandising, retailers, presentations, events and other promotional opportunities
    – Partner with PR and digital agency to execute PR programs
    – Support the launch of the e-commerce site

    Product Development (25%):

    – Help identify and develop new products concepts, positioning, formulation, packaging, technologies and pricing strategies
    – Coordinate with HQ on product launch plans
    – Oversee copy and marketing messaging for all marketing materials and packaging

    QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

    – 3-7 years’ experience in sales, cosmetic & beauty industry.
    – Successful sales experience in meeting and exceeding goals.
    – Strong understanding in main beauty channels in US/Canada.
    – Knowledge of skin care, cosmetics.
    – B2B and direct relationship with merchant/buyer experiences required.
    – Familiar with cosmetic regulation in North America market.
    – Enjoy meeting and interacting with people and demonstrate an enthusiastic and positive attitude.

    Understanding Marketing and SCM.

    – Ability to review and analyze Stock & Sales Plan.
    – Strong communication and negotiation skills and ability to present effectively and credibly to client.
    – Outstanding sales capabilities, sales analytics.
    – Ability to analyze data and make determinations to proactively identify business opportunities.
    – Demonstrated reliability and dependability in previous work history.
    – Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment.
    – Strong problem solving skills and team player.
    – General computer operation with centralized financial systems and proficiency in use of MS Office, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
    – Experience working with Sephora is plus.
    – Bilingual in French or Spanish is plus, but not required.
