Logistics Manager:
Job Duties and Responsibilities Include:
• Developing new customers and carriers
• Investigating and planning the most appropriate route for a shipment, taking account of the cost, transit time and security;
• Negotiating contracts, transportation and handling costs;
• Obtaining, checking and preparing documentation;
• Offering consolidation services by road and rail, ensuring cost-effective and secure solutions to customers;
• Liaising with third parties to move goods (by road, rail) in accordance with customer requirements;
• Arranging insurance and assisting the client in the event of a claim;
• Working closely with customers, colleagues and third parties to ensure smooth operations to deadlines;
• Maintaining communication and control through all phases of the journey;Qualifications and Skills:
• 5+ years of experience holding similar responsibilities within similar industry and organization
• Strong focus on the customer and carriers
• Self motivated, diligent and hardworking
• Teamwork valuing quality service, integrity, and accountability
• Professional individual who can build strong relationships with all levels of colleagues
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel and Power Point.
• Must possess strong written and oral communication skills and fluency in the English/Korean language
