JOB TITLE: Project Engineer DEPARTMENT: Research & Development Department Reports to: KJ group internal issue: Senior Project Engineer Customer issue: Engineering Group Leader ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: New program acquisition -Organize customer technical presentation with the help of departments of KJA and KJ R&D center in Korea -Lead customer PDT(Project Development Team) meetings -Lead KJA product development projects -Monitor project development schedule and report deficiency. -Manage APQP process -Lead APQP activities -Maintain APQP documents, including, -ADVP&R(Analysis Development Validation Plan and Reporting) -Receive customer EWO and forward to relevant KJ manufacturing locations. -Manage engineering change for development products until the start of mass production -Support customers with change cost and timing study -Coordinate validation test -Coordinate internal production schedule and customer implementation schedule -Support customer prototype operation -Engineering support -Support customer early production operation -Engineering support ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide engineering support to Purchasing in sourcing component and tooling sourcing from local suppliers.
