Job Description: The Korean Bilingual Freight Forwarder will be responsible for managing shipments, coordinating with carriers and shippers, and ensuring the efficient and timely delivery of goods. This role requires fluency in both English and Korean, with the ability to handle customers and business correspondence in both languages. Key Responsibilities: Manage and coordinate both import and export freight in a timely manner. Communicate with carriers and shippers to ensure efficient shipment and delivery. Understand and adhere to customs and import-export regulations. Communicate with Korean-speaking clients, respond to their inquiries and resolve any freight-related issues. Maintain accurate documentation of all freight forwarding transactions. Track and update shipment status, resolve any discrepancies that arise. Develop relationships with clients, carriers, and vendors to ensure efficient operations. Comply with all company policies and procedures, as well as all applicable local, state, and federal regulations. Report to and work directly with the Operation Manager to optimize procedures and improve service delivery. Qualifications: Fluency in Korean and English (both spoken and written) is required. A minimum of 2 years experience in freight forwarding or related field. Strong understanding of freight forwarding operations, shipping, and customs regulations. Excellent organizational and multi-tasking abilities. Ability to communicate effectively with clients, carriers, and team members. Strong problem-solving skills, with a customer-focused approach.
