Job Summary:
IT Support Specialist is a generalist position for all aspects of computer set-up, installation, troubleshooting, service, upgrades and maintenance. This position also includes responsibility for handling how computers connect to the network; printing both locally and on the network.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
-Network infrastructure-monitoring traffic, stoage space, printers, connections to servers and switches.
-Setting up new employee equipment (laptops, desktops, smartphones, etc.)
-Manage local hosted Exchange server
-IT inventory management, tracking and ordering assets (software, hardware, etc.)
-Acts as the liasion withIT Managed Service Provider.
-Working in conjuction with other IT personnel to resolve problems as quickly as possible.
-Troubleshooting and conducting tests to determine whether equipment, software or procedures are operating as expected.
-Information Technology project management.
-Other duties as assigned.

Skills /Requirements:
-Ability to identify network, software and basic hardware problem sources and apply appropriate corrective procedures.
-Strong verbal, written, analytical and interpersonal skills.
-Ability to organize and prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
-Candidate shall also possess a willingness to work with a diverse group and adapt to cultural differences.

Education/Training /Experience :
-Associate Degree in a technical field and 4 years directly related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and/or directly related Technical experience required. Bachelor’s degree may be substituted for some experience as deemed appropriate.
-Previous Automotive manufacturing experience preferred.
-Strong working knowledge of business applications including Microsoft Office and SAP or similar enterprise software.
-Previous experience with networking, server operating systems and environments
