The IT Senior Project Administrator will assist the Sr. IT Manager, IT Process and Project Management with Enterprise-wide process and project management functions within the AHF-IT organization spanning the North America domestic markets (i.e. CA, FL, South, DC area, East Coast) as well as global markets (i.e. Africa, Asia Pacific, Eastern Europe, South America.)The Senior Project Administrator will be expected to serve as a key administrative contributor to various IT projects.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Includes the following. Other duties may be assigned:
• Work with other AHF-IT teams (i.e. Application Development, Application Support & Maintenance, Infrastructure Management including Data Center Operations, Network Services and Security Management, End User Support, IT Operations & Strategy, Quality Assurance & Testing, and IT Service Management) and Business departments (e.g., HR, Finance, Managed Care, Pharmacy, etc) to assist in administering and maintaining a standardized IT Process and Project Management methodology and tools.
• Assist with maintaining Program Management Office (PMO) & Project Management processes with a best of breed PMO and Project Management methodology and tools.
• Support administration of a standardized RFI (Request for Information) / RFP (Request for Proposal) management processes to meet business objectives for cost effective vendor evaluation/selection for large-scale IT projects.
• Work closely with other AHF-IT teams to support implementing a world class Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) and Application Development Lifecycle (ADLC) management processes invoking significant cross component coordination and planning.
• Support AHF-IT efforts to increase maturity of project scope definition, schedule, priorities, risks, and overall development and deployment plans.
• Support administration of budgets for all functionalities under AHF-IT Process and Project Management organization.Education and/or Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Computer Science/Engineering, Information Systems, Math, or in a related field.
• Minimum three – five years experience in Information Technology (IT) industry with at least three years experience in PMO and/or PM functions administering and supporting implementation teams of more than 5 members.
• Three- five years experience in a project/systems administrator or coordinator role involving middle market Tier 1 application implementations in Healthcare and/or Insurance industry.
• Minimum three – five years experience operating across organizational boundaries involving identification and mitigation of project and process deficiencies while supporting internal IT staff, end user community, executives, vendor project team members and subcontractor teams.
• Must have proven experience with team building and coordinating complex teams and demonstrate strong administrative skills coordinating and supporting project efforts.
• Significant experience developing executive level management reporting to groups such as the IT Steering Committee and CIO that document aggressive project schedule management, vendor contract administration; risk and issue management, and development of proactive response plans.
• Demonstrated ability maintaining complex program and project schedules while coordinating successful execution of plan budgets and milestones at an acceptable level of maturity.
• Three-five years of expertise validating and communicating project scope changes and administration of plan scope through a formal change control process.
• Support creation, modification and review of policies, procedures, and reporting channels necessary to assuring that major program plans, activities, milestones, and deliverables are successfully executed.
• Experience in CMMI Level 3 or above certification preferred.Qualifications
• Strong Familiarity with PMBOK principles, PMP a major plus. (Consideration will also be given to candidates currently enrolled in the PMI-PMP test track process.)
• Experience in CMMI certification a big plus.
• MCSE, MCSD, MCDBA, Java/J2EE and/or SOA certifications also a big plus.
• Demonstrated experience in a complex, multi-cultural, matrix management organizations supporting multiple projects.
• Healthcare and/or Insurance Industry experience preferred.
• Strong ITSM background required – ITIL Foundation Certificate a big plus.
• Six Sigma experience a big plus with Green Belt certification a major consideration.
• Strong familiarity with HIPAA & PHI regulations preferred.
• Experience with companies serving global markets & subsidiaries will be considered a major plus.
