Job Title: IT Assistant Manager

The Company has been in the United States for over 26 years and is a global leader in Shipbuilding, Offshore Drilling & Engineering, Industrial Plant Development & Engineering, Engine & Machinery Manufacturing, Electro Electric Systems Manufacturing and Construction Equipment. The Company sells and services an extensive line of construction equipment and material handlers.
Primary Duties:
• Implement then maintain policies and goals that support the organization’s IT needs.
• Ensure proper functioning of the information processing system and oversee necessary upgrades.
• Help business operation groups utilize information systems to improve their efficiency. Rely on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.Responsibilities:
• Warehouse Management System Maintenance.
• Product development and maintenance(Odoo, CERES)
• File Server Data/Backup/Restore.
• AIX printer queue Administration. IP Phone Systems Maintenance.
• Security Systems Management with Symantec, AxTrax, and Microsoft products.
• Plan and Manage IT project developments/upgrades/maintenances.
• Monitor and review IT vendor services quality and pricing.Required Skills:
• Good communication skills
• Initiative and Strong Problem solving skills
• Able to deal with frequent changes, delays or unexpected events with flexibility in order to support the organization’s need in time
• Understanding of IT infrastructure and application architectures
• Flexible with multitasking in a rapidly changing environment.Education and Work Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
• 2+ years of Oracle/Postgres SQL and PL/SQL back end development of large software system
• 2+ years of Java/C/Python development of large software system
• 1 year experience in Network Management
• 1 year experience in IP/Digital phone system maintenance (NEC IP technology preferred)Benefits:
