Position Highlights:

You will be working directly with a manager on various client engagements from tax research for a small business to audit including income tax provision (ASC 740) for a large corporation. No prior work experience is required. The manager previously worked at firms including McGladrey and a Big 4. He can teach you if you are willing to learn.

Position Requirements:

Be proactive – If you are a shy or quiet person, this position is probably not for you. We learn that you get more support and cooperation from your colleagues when you have a proactive attitude.

Be detail-oriented – There is no quick or easy answer in this career. No one knows everything and many people can think differently. We believe that you can make a difference when you pay attention to details that other team members may have overlooked.

Speak effectively – Knowing is not enough in public accounting. We should be able to explain complex matters in a way the listener can clearly understand. Not only we deal with corporate managers but we also deal with small business owners.

Be fluent in English – You will communicate in English with your in-charge manager. In the first few months, your primary duties will be doing tax research and contacting the IRS and state taxing authorities.

0 - 2 year experience in public accounting and a Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in Accounting). Recent graduates are welcome to apply.
