Inside Sales Trainee (Electrical/Lighting) – Entry Level

Location: Long Island City, NY

Hours: 7 AM to 5 PM (M-F)

Job Summary:

The incumbent will mainly provide direct assistance to the manager/supervisor of department involving the sales process, while ensuring effective communication and service to customers.  The position requires someone with a strong sense of desire to learn “hands-on” and develop under direct apprenticeship and guidance of the sales manager, acquiring industry and product knowledge.

Job Functions & Responsibilities:

–          Provide comprehensive and direct assistance to sales manager.

–          Provide accurate and timely follow-up of quotation/pricing requests via phone and e-mail transmittal.

–          Quickly learning and retaining product knowledge and specifications.

–          Maintaining effective and strong relationships with customer base.

–          Deliver excellence in customer satisfaction and service.

–          Effectively work in cooperation with department staff and management on duties assigned.

Qualifications:

–          High School Diploma or GED required.

–          0-2 years of direct experience in sales, customer service, or warehouse management.

–          Working knowledge of electrical/lighting product wholesale preferred, but not required.

–          Willingness to learn and a strong desire to excel.

–          Punctuality.

–          Bilingual (English/Korean) candidate preferred.
