Responsible for fast-paced 2 shift molding floor, including training and development of production support personnel, press utilization, production efficiencies, controlling costs, rejects and scrap and safety for all shifts. <strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</strong> - Manage all aspects of the Injection Molding Department. - Responsible for all processes, equipment, employees, safety, and housekeeping of the area and meeting production quality and quantity standards. - Organizes work for smooth operations. - Implement company policy for production shop members. - Recruit and train production shop members. - Schedule department operations, managing the department personnel and coordinating job assignments. Develop and implement training programs and new model launch plans. - Develop and implement quality and efficiency plans for mass production. - Develop short/long range production plans. - Drive process improvements, i.e. set-up time reduction, scrap reduction, 5S activities, and increased throughputs. - Other duties as assigned. <strong>Skills/Requirements:</strong> - Knowledge of job application and workstation layout. - Excellent communication skills and team building philosophy. - Demonstrated ability to work well as a member of a team. - Detail and goal oriented with the ability to quickly analyze data and recommend solutions that meet the customer’s expectations, while providing the most effective and efficient solutions. - Experience with MS Excel and Word software programs is required. - Strong leadership qualities and previous supervisory experience. - Hands-on experience with injection molding equipment. <strong>Education/Training/Experience:</strong> - 8 years or more experience in the automotive industry preferred. - 4 years or more experience in injection molding manufacturing. - 4-year degree preferred. - Transplant experience preferred. <strong>Software skills required:</strong> MS Word PowerPoint MS Excel MS Access <strong>All interest applicants should apply at </strong>https://easyapply.co/a/9f906f12-0b47-42bc-b9db-bdf70acbcbd6 I agree to the terms of service Update List
