Summary IT assistant manager, application will work with other engineers and participate in designing, implementing and managing business web applications and its servers. High level of proficiency working on continuous improvement, utilizing SQL, Java, and C# is required. This position will be responsible for partnering with the business in analysis of process and information needs to clearly identify and document project requirements for technology solutions. This role will serve as a strategic partner between business clients, technical development staff, vendors and third-party administrators. Responsibilities Manage critical issues & resolutions related to existing Application Systems Develop and propose resolutions or alternative solutions for better information services Direct and design system architecture Evaluate/propose Hardware, software, solutions Share system knowledge with team members so there is a backup member when one is absent Keep up with new technology/trend and adopt them to IT system Act as a liaison with customers and partners IT Departments System Enhancement in Applications & Infrastructure New implementation and Modification of IT program/software Requirements analysis and Application System Design and Development including Data base Effectively interact/interface with external parties customers and vendors Defines interfaces among systems components to ensure interoperability Research for the enhancement or improvement of IT systems Monitor system failure & performance and properly resolve them in right time Strongly involve in the planning and engineering of systems infrastructure Conduct D/B or Application Tuning Setup, monitor, and troubleshoot transaction flow for EDI X12 and API (JSON, XML) Manage Application Performance Monitor Train users for new or modified functionality Data management requested by users Create and deliver functional documentation for related applications that support business operations Collaboration with Internal Operation teams, Customers, Vendors, and 3rd party vendor Other ad hoc duties as assigned Compensation $86,000- $96,000 per year (Subject to Compensation Study Upon Candidate Selection) Benefits of Working at Hyundai GLOVIS America Inc.
