The Analyst, Cost Accounting position is mainly responsible for the Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable functions for MNA (Mobis North America) Toledo and Detroit plant Operations.Compensation
$42,000-$48,000/Year (Subject to Compensation Study Once Candidate is Selected)Work Schedule
2nd Shift: Tuesday-Saturday 10:00am-7:00pmResponsibilities
Accounts Payable & Receivable Process for MNA Operations
Process AP mainly & support AR process
Analysis and verify many raw Data and Report Result of Data to Supervisor
Process AP(Accounts Payable) with GTMS & SAP both systems mainly & support AR(Account Receivable)
Cross checking with Glovis MNA Operations Team for Validity of Shipments and carrier invoices and POD documents
Synchronize for Glovis AP & Carrier Aging
Manage no longer than 30 days AP aging
Process weekly AP invoices and check requests to Glovis Accounting for AP payment
Verify payments to carriers and send out detailed remittance information to carriers weekly
Support Monthly Closing of Accounts Payable & Receivable of MNA operations
Check Validity of shipment for the month
Cross checking for actual processed AR & AP in SAP & GTMS
Make Accrual AR & AP list
Make Monthly Closing Documents
Support Implementation for New Vendor and New Employee
Follow up Registration Documentations for New Vendor
Unlock GTMS ID & PW in case of frozen ID & PW of Vendor or employee
Support GTMS education to vendors and new employees
Follow-up additional training of GTMS by Venders and new employees
Support to maintain GTMS Master Code
Update any change in vendor locations in GTMS as requested by Glovis operation managers
Update any changes to routes in GTMS as requested by Glovis operation managers
Other Duties as Assigned
Support any necessary approval documents for accounting related issues

Associates Degree Required
Bachelors Degree Preferred
One (1) Year of Experience in Accounting or Logistics Required
Three (3) Years of Experience in 3PL Logistics or Finance Experience in Logistics PreferredPhysical Requirements
Ability to sit in front of a desk and/or in front of the computer for long periods
Repetitive use of hand/grasping product, writing, and typing
