Job Description – Consolidation of the IFRS financial statements and other operating data for actual, budget, and forecast purposes. – Maintain the consolidation working papers, and the adjusting and elimination entries. Analyze business unit financial statements and other related correspondence included in consolidated financial data. – Work closely with the Business, Global Financial Services, Treasury, Tax, and Financial Reporting and Planning functions to ensure the quality, accuracy and consistency of the financial data reported in the general ledger and consolidation system. – Files federal , state, and local tax documents by preparing property tax returns, state pages, and federal, state, and municipal returns, extensions, and quarterly payments – Maintains legislative materials by reviewing, interpreting, and implementing new or revised laws. – Maintains compliance with regulations by forwarding required information to federal, state, and local authorities. – Prepares asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information. – Documents financial transactions by entering account information. – Recommends financial actions by analyzing accounting options. – Summarizes current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports. – Guides accounting clerical staff by coordinating activities and answering questions. – Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information. – Secures financial information by completing data base backups. – Prepares payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements. – Answers accounting & taxation procedure questions by researching and interpreting accounting policy and regulations. – Complies with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions. – Prepares special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information. – Accomplishes the result by performing the duty. – Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
