The Human Resources Specialist will guide and manage the overall provision and implementation of Human Resources (HR) services, policies, and programs for the entire company. The Specialist will originate and lead HR practices and objectives that will provide a human-oriented, high performance culture that emphasizes our core values, quality work, goal attainment, and the recruitment and ongoing development of a superior workforce.Essential Responsibilities
– Source and recruit top-notch candidates for positions at all levels
– Utilize various sourcing tools and techniques to identify active and passive job candidates
– Build candidate pipelines to fill current and anticipated vacancies
– Organize and document post-interview debriefing / feedback with recruiting team
– Oversee corporate HR functions to include training, benefits administration, performance management, and legislation
– Administer the timely delivery of HR services to ensure consistent exemplary execution of HR best practices
– Ensure alignment of HR policies and procedures
– Create channels of open communication across and within levels of responsibility
– Resolve conflicts, build consensus, provide opportunities for staff members to interact and forge relationships
– Conduct prompt investigations of claims of harassment and/or discrimination
– Develop and monitor annual HR budget
– Perform other various tasks as neededRequired Education and Experience
– Bachelor’s Degree. 3-4 years of relevant HR experience will be considered in lieu of an academic degree
– 3-4 years demonstrated HR administration
– Exemplary communications skills, both oral and written
– Excellent interpersonal skills that involve conflict resolution
– Ability to write professionally for corporate documents, presentations, and reports
– Data management and administration of human resources technologies
– Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Internet Explorer
– Current CA Driver’s License and clean DMV driving recordPreferred Qualifications
– At least two (2) years of focus on an HR specialty area such as talent acquisition and HR planning, and compensation
– Professional Human Resources (PHR) CertificationCompetencies
