Human Resources Manager

We are seeking an intelligent, talented and experienced Human Resources Manager to direct our expanding HR Dept. This role requires an experienced practitioner to contribute to the overall success ofa national brand retail operations organization subject to CA and Los Angeles labor laws.

To be considered for this position, you must have 5+ years of Human Resources management experience.
Responsibilities Include (but not limited to):
Employee Relations and Liability Management of 500+ retail employees
Handbook Development
Benefit Administration
Manage day to day operations of the HR functions and duties
Partnership with Payroll Department for execution of payroll rules compliance
Handle highly confidential and sensitive information such as filing and maintaining personnel files (hard and soft copies)
Verify I-9 documentation and keep up to date records
Oversee New Hire Orientation
Project a positive and professional company image at all times

Requirements:
Fluent in CA Labor Law
SPHR Certification
Working knowledge of HR disciplines including personnel records management
Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook and HRIS or other HRIS a plus
Ability to effectively multitask and prioritize responsibilities
Can-do attitude, self-starter, dependable, and willingness to assist in all functional areas as needed
Possess a strong work ethic and team player attitude.
Strong organizational development experience to support organizational growth.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Top notch follow up skills is essential
