    Location: Downtown Los Angeles

     

     

     

    Human Resources Assistant

     

    The ideal candidate for this position will have experience within training and development, employee retention, management counseling, and general HR functions.

     

     

    Responsibilities:

     

    ·          Support the implementation of appropriate HR solutions aligned with overall business direction.

    ·          Payroll processing: monitor timecards and process payroll 100 + employees with ADP payroll software

    ·          Support and influence business on strategic HR matters.

    ·          Formulate and recommend Human Resources policies and objectives for the company with regard to employee relations.

    ·          Manage complex employee relations issues. Investigate employee issues and complaints in timely, professional manner; respond to and resolve issues as appropriate. Handle legal issues; deal with possible conflicts related to employer practices.

    ·          Process recruiting and termination process legally and effectively.

    ·          Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations when assisting in the creation of policies and procedures.

    ·          Raising proactive issues with managers, identifying practical solutions to complex and diverse HR issue and recommending appropriate action plans.

    ·          Communicate information to all team members

     

    Job Requirements:

     

    ·          Minimum 2years of experience in related field

    ·          Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Industrial Relations, Human Resource management

    ·          Thorough knowledge of corporate benefits and relevant regulations

    ·          Demonstrates a high level of confidentiality and discretion

    ·          Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interface with a dynamic team

    ·          Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities

    ·          Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills

    ·          Excellent communication skills (oral and written)

    ·          Strong project management and organizational skills

    ·          Ability to manage multiple projects

    ·          Ability to analyze issues, develop solutions and communicate recommendations

    ·          Must be Bilingual (Korean/English)

    ·          Legal residents only.
